I think they just renamed them. The XTec and Vipertec. Of course they share the new changes for 2004.

Hey guys,

I just got done shooting the new Hoyt 2004 Vipertech tonight and loved it! I shot a Mathews Legacy also but the Hoyt felt right for me. It' s more expensive then the Mathews to $620.00 dollars plus tax!

I do not have the price list in front of me but here is what I know so far. The Vipertec will be in the same price range as last year' s Havoctec, Razortec and Cybertec...around $600. The Xtec, Ultratec and Protec will all be around $670. The Elite series bows are all going to be significantly more...I am guessing around $900 or so from what I am hearing though the local dealer will not be keeping any of those in stock.... I expect the Ultramag and Ultrasport to be in the same basic price range as the MtSport and Magnatec with an additional $25-$40 increase because of the new design.

Hope this helps some.
