I would have passed on the deer too cardeer. Tabby you are right about the PGC and the idea behind the antler restrictions, but there' s no way I would want to shoot that old buck without his headgear. Shoot a big old doe if you need some meat. Maybe next year he strolls by cardeer with his rack still intact. Just doesn' t seem right to me to shoot that particular buck like that. Illegal too. Turn yourself in and it' s still a fine......

True. It would be a waste to shoot the old buck without his head gear. And you would still be fined if the PGC found out.
