I posted last week that I finally got my first bow kill after just over two years. This is a 6 pointer and it dressed out a 145lbs. Sorry if they are blurry I took a picture of picture with a digital camera. Tell me if you think this looks like a 1 1/2 or a 2 1/2 year old. My uncle says its a year and a half because of how short its snout is and it was not very long body wise. But my friends dad thinks it was 2 1/2 because it weighs about 30lbs more than the average 1 1/2 and the antlers have a lot of mass if it' s a 1 1/2.

That deers antlers are bigger than the caribou I shot this weekend!
That looks like a 2&1/2 year old to me, but I' m not whitetail expert. Too much mass and spread, but you guys do grow em big up in Michigan.
Congrats!

Looks like a nice 2 1/2 year old deer to me. He was probably a spike or small fork last year and would' ve been even nicer next year.
Congrats on your first bow kill! It' s allllll downhill from here.
