So ... exactly what are you doing standing up so close behind that deer in the second picture anyway?[
] Is that kind of behavior allowed or appropriate in Kansas? The picture is a little grainy and dark so I can' t tell exactly.... but it doesn' t look good.[

OK, enough of that. Nice deer. I know you feel good. It' s nice when a plan finally works. You really have to do something about that hat. [&:]

Jason N - I' ve spent the last two years getting ready for that shot between practice, more practice, fiddling with my bows and arrows, practicing, shooting a few 3D shoots, in field errors etc etc ... and more practice ! My best trophy so far bar none. He' s also my best whitetail ... I really put a tape to him last night and got 145" and some change ..... a bit bigger that the 5x4 I killed out there three years ago with a compound by a bit and far more a trophy IMO. Just damn tickled with him !
TWC - The guys I hunt with live in Hoxie and I' m a guest - and honored that they let me come out every year. We hunt ranches near Hoxie all the way out to like 45 miles from there. Every year is different it seems.
