80 degrees in PA today, the 3rd day on Nov, sweating my butt off with equipment, stomping thru the woods!

Been doing it in GA all my life. I guess you just get used to it. Seems to be getting warmer every year. Early morning and late evening are fine most of the time, but trying to stay in all day is tough.

You get used to it, wear light clothes, hunt early and late only and can' t wear scentlok.

Open week - Oct 1 - Oct 3 here in Louisiana, it was 25 mph winds and 45 degrees. I didn' t know what to do. I did kill a deer though. This past weekend it was around 89.

It does make it easier to shot a bow, though. No cumbersome winter clothes to get in the way.

I was sure feeling the heat today in the woods. Down here in Louisiana it is pretty warm. Deer just don' t want to move except at night. We need some cold weather and some rain.[:' (][:@]

If I could I would send some of our weather to ya. I woke up this morning and it was 5 degrees. Had to wear a coat to work.

80' s isn' t too bad..........but I' ll take 40' s & 50' s anyday ! Since season started here in August..........most of my hunting has been in temp' s 80-95 degrees !

Just FYI for your northern guys........the !@#$! misqitoes make it more miserable than the heat does !! [:' (]

I' ve been doing it for 20 years and I STILL ain' t used to it. I HATE hunting when the weather is hot. Not only do you stink and are miserable, but the mosquitos will literally try to fly off with you. And having to wear a bug suit doesn' t help with the heat either. This weekend should be perfect though, lows in the mid 40' s and high' s in the low to mid 60' s. That' s perfect weather to me.
