He was actually about 30 points and had some 8" drop tines before I took this picture... I knocked off some of those antlers off draggin him down the hill... so reduced him to a 4 pointer. But you know that stuff happens. lol...

I was just happy to have had the opportunity. And believe me I almost let him walk... next year - a deer like this will walk by all day long. I am going for trophy.

Great for you - nice buck - and congratulations!

I shot 10 bucks that size before I started passing any - I was just as excited every time!

Don' t be in a hurry to " trophy hunt" - they are all trophys if you respect and admire them.
