Rick, I drug him back whole so I could keep the guts. Nothing like a big fresh pile of guts, blood, bones, hide and so on for the trap line. We are heading out Tuesday or Wednesday night to set up the area, and plan to make a big pile of this stuff and set snares around the entrances.

If I weren' t trapping this year, I would of taken the guts out right away.

Jerry, where exactly did you get him?

I got mine this weekend about 5 miles north of Grayling Lake on the Dalton. Right at mile 161.

Quack addict, I used some old Scottish techniques to bring him down. Not many people know about kilt hunting. [&:]

Doug, I was up north, about 30 miles from Deadhorse. No hunters up there, and had the herd all to myself for a change. I' m sure the majority of the herd is further south, but there are always some stragglers hanging around up north. Probably saw 100 more coming back after dragging him out.
