Happy to say my girlfriend is very good with it, both hunting and fishing. She loves to go flyfishing with me, and we hunt birds together. Not all the time, but sometimes. I enjoy sharing it with her, and can' t imagine how it works when a guy/girl is " allowed" to go hunting or if it is merely " tolerated" . Maybe i' m just lucky!

ORIGINAL: Trashman

Hint - It helps if you mope around the house if your not hunting.
So that works for you, too? I' m glad I' m not the only one that resorts to such tactics...

I hunt from Sept. 1-November 15th. HARD. She is good through Sept. then it gets ugly, and I keep going. It takes the rest of the year to bring her around before the following September. Then we start again. It is a vicious cycle.

My husband doesn' t archery hunt but he fully supports me in archery season and I spend MANY hours in my stands. I come home from work and hunt till dark, when I return from the woods, the cloths are washed and folded, the dishes are done and dinner is cooked.
hummm come to think about it maybe I won' t shoot a deer.

He also helps me set up my tree stands.
When I get deer he then gets to do his share by helping get it out of the woods and butchering it.

We enjoy fishing together along with deer/rifle season and small game.
I return all the favors he does for me in archery season by baiting his hook for him when we go fishing and catching all those worms myself, along with cleaning the fish AND the boat.

ahhh life is good

My wife is usually very supportive. She loves to deer hunt also. In fact, she' s got more on our walls than me.

My wife also supports my hunting and also hunts with me from time to time. She would go more but her job keeps her extremly busy. So I guess I am pretty lucky.

The only draw back of a wife supporting your hunting is she is always asking when I am going to bring home the meat
That' s my situation to a tee!
