Well, whaddyaknow...what would the anti's think of a thread like this...a bunch of ruthless, cut-throat, heartless bambi killers talking about love and respect in a hunting forum. Ya gotta love it!

Excellent question wolfen.

1. I admire deer and their ability to adapt to so many situations, thier ability to sense danger, be it visual, smell, or sound. The amazing thing is that an older deer develops a 6th sense when some thing is not right.

2. I am jealous of deer in an odd sort of way, they are free and totally in tune with thier enviroment.

3. I am thankful for deer, they allow me to match wits with them on thier turf and they win more than I do. They are a very worthy and tasty adversary.

4. I respect deer for thier tenacity, thier will to live, thier intelligence.

5. I am grateful to deer, they have over the years allowed me to learn so much about nature as a whole and about them also, yet it seems like the more I learn about them the more I realize I need to learn.

6. I guess to sum it up I love them.
