My opinion is, it will affect them some. If they' ve gotten used to the 50' s weather, the 70' s is gonna make them lay up during the hot part of the day. I' d focus my attention close to bedding areas early in the morning and try to catch them coming back from feeding areas. You may also try mid day hunting around water sources. The warmer weather will make them need more water. I' d probably spend the afternoon scouting out other areas or relaxing in camp.

Just my thoughts.

I' d be out there unless it' s a downpour!! I hate hunting in the rain!! The rut happens at the same time each year, rain or shine, sleet or snow, hot or cold!!

Yes, to some extent. I have found that in cold weather the deer move more often. A warm spell probably will lead to less deer movement. The key will be to be in the right place depending on those weather conditions.

It is going to be almost the same situation in my neck of the woods tomorrow...though I will have several hundred thousand small game hunters to help with the deer movement issue....
