Many hunters have inherent weaknesses they don't brag about on a forum. thieves don't mind discussing , among themselves, hunter weaknesses.

What inherent weakness. Leaving a stand in the woods?

I have a good friend who has stands all across the county. There was once a set of steps that relied on a screw in bolt that the step slips over to climb. He uses these steps for the first dozen or so and then regular screw in steps after that. If you're consistant, you know how many of the slip over steps you need for you stand no matter which one he hunts. He also has his climber for remaining flexible. He has lost maybe one or 2 over the years. You have to be dedicated to go through all the trouble to steal a $40 lockon.
