Muzzy rules not only with braodheads but with arrow rests also. Of course this is just MHO. ;)

I have read lots of different broadhead tests over the years.....from different magazine publications, different individuals. From all of them, 5shot gets my vote because of the time he puts in, variety of objects he uses, and strict guidelines he sets in his tests.

I do want to add something........I do my own testing while I hunt:) For me, after several years of using Muzzy..whether it be the 125 grain or 100 grain head......they do a great job, in both initial penetration, cutting and the combination of both leaves a mean blood trail!

Many broadheads have their good things, a few have bad things, but as far as the trocar tip........just look how many heads have adapted the Trocar tip to their line of heads, that Muzzy introduced and continues to use! I am not a Muzzy loyalist, I just use them because they work for me!!!!!!:D

Anyone called Precision Archery yet to get the scoop? I' m interested just not interested enough to make a long distance phone call to a stranger about something I heard on a MBoard. :D

I dontw exactely who Precision Archery is - Hes not talking about PSE is he ? Know matter what - I have difficulties thinking there are problems with the Muzzy broadheads in general - sure they are not perfect - BUT - I cannot see the Muzzy' s wide acceptance if there was an obvious problem with them........

I am going to shoot them regardless - They fly well enough for me, and after reading 5shots review and many other opinions... how can you think they are a bad head ?? Id like to try out the Magnus broadheads - the 4 blade..... 5shot gave them a score of 26....... and I have never read anything bad about them either but I have never had one in my hand and I am only 13 days from my 10 day trip to Illinois / Indiana....... So Muzzy will get the nod this year.........

I love Muzzy broadheads. I' ve been using them so far this season. I' ve been experimenting with the Crimson Talon broadheads. I do carry one in my quiver but I' ve yet to hunt with it. I really like the way they fly during practice. I plan on hunting with it in the next week or two and hopefully I' ll get a shot.

I don' t think you will regret your choice eightwgt, I' ve been shooting 100 grain 3-blade muzzy' s for 10 years without a complaint..........again this season they have performed flawlessly, took down a nice 8 last weekend and a mature doe yesterday afternoon, as someone else previous said, they slice nice and leave a mean blood-trail....in addition to busting bone when it is required, while also maintaining awesome arrow flight......but thats just my opinion.;)

Another vote here for Muzzy 100 grain 3 blade.....and the zero effect is hard to beat too.

You cannot argue with results....:D
