Thunder Head Razors are great broadheads. I just switched to muzzy trocars because they are just as good and cheaper but the Thunder Head Razors are great....Ive been using them for years. They were called Nightmares when I started using them.

Ive still got quite a few, IL has decided to let us shoot crossbows after shotgun season is over so I think I'm gonna use them for that.

I always used the Thunderheads in the old days but switched to Muzzy due to better flight out of my Mathews compound bow. Both are quality heads and have worked flawlessly on deer.

The razors are the offset heads designed to fix flight problems.

Ive still got a couple boxes of the old thunderhead 160s......I might try those with the crossbow.

Wow heavy head. Must be shooting high poundage with a big arrow.

Yeah, I'll see how it goes.

Its not a super fast crossbow. Just 150lb shooting 330fps with a 400gr arrow

I'll probably end up using the 100gr thunderhead razors(nightmares) but I gotta try the 160s ......they are just sitting around collecting dust.

I'm sure in the end when I use those up I'll just end up using the trocars for everything but I figure I might as well use what I have until they are gone.

Either one will provide a pile of hurt on a deer. Depending on what size arrow I used I went between the 100 and 125. I don't think I ever saw a 160.

They don't make them anymore, haven't for years.

Slick trick does make a 150 crossbow head though.
