Thanks guys. I turned into a weekend warrior and headed up to Colorado to hunt with my cousin for the second season opener. I scored 7 hours into opening day, shooting a 5X5 bull from 50 yards at 2pm. I only had Saturday and Sunday to hunt, and my cousin talked me into not bringing my bow because of the area, so I took my trusty old 30-06. Still great fun getting close to the elk, but only saw 6 that day, all bulls.

I' ll have pictures later today. Another hat trick year for me with species. Black bear, caribou and elk. Last year was Black bear, Moose and Caribou. I' ll try and mix it up some more next year. But I plan to do a lot more with the bow. Oregon elk in early Sept. is on my hit list so far.

Congratulations ABM. You have to be one of the most accomplished hunters when it comes to a variety of animals that I am personally acquainted with.
