Congrats on your spike. Like you I took a small spike on monday for the freezer and still have 2 tags left. I use the 100 gr shockwaves and my deer ran less than 40yds I really love them.

congrats nice deer!!!!! man i love that pic!! even if some meat is showing i think thats a great one.....(according to the guides of good pics on here) i think a little hole or little blood in a pic is fine aslong as it isnt all sloppy ect..its part of hunting....but thats agreat pic....i like the angle and the fall scenery.....congrats.....and man thats a heck of an entrance hole....its been a long time since i seen a bow killed deer upclose so i dont remember what my dads holes used to look like....but that broadhead did more then my 3006 does.....most times i cant find the entrance wound....thats a great hole.....bet that was a nice trail to follow if at all...congrats!

Great shot and a HUGE hole! The Razortecs are getting a good workout this year--a bunch of us are taking some fine animals with them.

Yeah, I know exactly where Spanishburg is. Them are two nice bucks, I hear quite a bit about Burke Mtn and its bowhunting. I' ve rode 4-wheelers up there quite a bit, but never hunted it. I know there are some monsters come out of Gary also. Well good luck this year and hope you get that P&Y, I' m going to try my best.

Great pic!!!!! I shot a spike the first week of the MD season with an almost identical rack, it has 1 nice long spike on the right side then on the left it kinda shoots out to the side and curves up just like the buck you got. I would post the pic but its a crappy pickup pic and wouldnt hold a candle to your pic......lol. email me at [email protected] and I will send it to you. You will find it funny how much they look alike.
