Would you guys be interested in seeing a video full of kill shots like the Doemasters bow hunting clip plus several quality gobblers getting hammered up close? These are real hunters on real hunts. There are no paid hunts, no fences, or no dinner-bell kills where the hunter picks out the biggest buck like picking out the freshest milk in the grocery store. We' re putting together a sho-nuff video for the common hunter & need some feedback.
Thanks & shoot straight,

If you want me to buy a video, it' s got to have more on it than kills. A video of just kills is like a porno flick, no substance and it gets old very fast.
Show how the stand sight was selected, show how the gear was selected. Show a topo of the property being hunted and explain what is happening where and why, and again, how that led to the stand position. Show what to do after the wind shifted and when to draw and why to wait. Show how to track an animal under different conditions and different terrain. Many of the hunting videos I have seen skips the whole tracking process and just shows the hunter walking up on the dead animal.
These, and many more considerations I' m not thinking of right now, that show how we got to the point of the kill is what appeals to me. I pretty much know how to aim and shoot at a deer, and what an arrow does to a deer after it is hit. I could use some brush up on all of the other aspects. Some find these things boring, I know.

I' m with by23856 on this one.
A " highlight" film with nothing but kill shots is not only boring to watch after awhile, but I think it really degrades the sport of hunting. After all, it IS calling " hunting" and not " killing" so why only show kill shots?
If it' s all wild and all real hunters, go into their stories a little bit more. Like by suggested, give background as to where they' re hunting, why they selected that stand, recent or past deer sightings, weather conditions, etc etc. The full story makes things a lot more exciting then having a deer flash up on the tv and then get shot 15 seconds later.

I' d watch a video of various kill shots but I can' t say that I' d buy or rent it. If it was a video I could download and watch for free that' d be different.

I don' t think I was too clear in my question.... It' s a video of actual hunts, setups(food sources-bedding areas), surroundings, weapon choises, gear plugs, animals on the hoof (feeding, displaying...etc...), a good bit of humor, & yes... kills. It also shows some misses... great fun with those! The only difference between our tapes & a " PRO" tape is ours is real. No paid hunts, no fences, etc...

Personally I would not buy a video of doe and dink hunts - bore me to death
If you have some nice mature bucks on that video - well that might get my money
Sorry - but I would rather watch a slammer get hunted on a ranch than a dink get hunted on public land.
Lord knows I have seen enough dinks this year
