Got my first bow kill this weekend in Cameron NY. Stueben County. It was a small spike horn. I hit it right in the lungs from 25 yards. Went maybe 60 yards before expiring. Very quick death. I was very pleased and extremely proud to have taken my first bow killed deer so efficiently and humanely. It was a really good day. Safice to say.... Im lookin down on Cloud 9!!! In retrospect the three years of bowhunting it took me to finally bag one was not that long. It took me 11 hours to bag my first deer with a shotgun. I am more proud of this deer than I was of that one. Booooo Yaaaaahhh!
