I had a doe come out at 20 yards this weekend, only to draw back my bow and have it make the loudest squeeking noise. Of course the doe ran away. My question is what oil do ya' ll use that doesn' t have a smell. By the way it doesn' t seem to be the axles, it seems to be the cable slide. Thanks.

If it is the cable slide I would try some graphite instead of oil. If you dump oil on your slide it will just pick up a bunch of dirt and get all gummy. You can even use wax and that should work too.

If it is indeed the cable slide then get a teflon one as mentioned above.
I refuse to put anything on my cable guard that will collect dust.
Just wash the guard with warm soapy water to get all the gunk off it.
