Well yesterday afternoon I decided to sit in a fence line and watch a area between a corn field and hay field.I seen deer come there and graze ,but were alway nervous, So I decided to set up my doe decoy in the trail . It tends to get there attention away from me and is a curiosity to them. I arrived a 2:30 pm for the stay till dark. About 4:30 I see a guy sneaking down the trail about 500 yards away coming toward me. 1, this is posted property and this guy did not belong. I was bow hunting and he was hunting with muzzleloader. As I watched him get closer .I realized when he was about 100 yards away he was stalking my decoy. This decoy didn' t of course move a inch in the past 30 minutes since this guy was sneaking up on it , DAH. When I seen him put the gun up I yelled at him. He looked my way and said shut up you will scare the deer . Oh man where do these people come from????? He walks over to me and said" boy did you have me fooled" . No your the fool was my answer. I said where is yout identification badge to hunt on this property. I aint got one and aint going to.I was raised around here and I will hunt anywhere I want to. He stumps off and little later I here a Ka Boom. This is a bow hunting area only. Soon after I see the landowner heading in that direction on his 4 wheeler. Dont know if he caught him or not.
I need a break after 96 hours sittng in that sports chair.I' m taking the chevelle out to day to church ,Open headers and all it horses and wake up the spiritual dead. Might be the last chance to drive it before spring and my surgery.

I know I must have met that guy somewhere. You know, the guy that thinks because he was born in the county,... all the land is his personnal hunting refuge and the laws were made for the " Other" people.[]

Too bad you couldn' t get his license number. (If he was wearing one.) Someone so arrogant deserves to be busted.

Im sure you guys dissagree with theis for one reason or another, but nothing pisses me off more than being able to hunt an area for many years, then having some guy from the city come and post it. And to make matters worse, he hunts my land, and kicks me off of my neighbors. I don' t care about posted signs. The only guys that post are the ones from the city, and I feel that they don' t belong where i live.

Cardeer keep the decoy away till after the early muzzleloader season is over. You aren' t in a tree and the results could have been disatrous.
