need some ideas tips anything
hey im hunting a big typical 12 pointer but the problem is he keeps movin long b4 and after dark....i have found his rubs..his trails and his scrapes...but he isnt moving during shooting hours..wat can i do...or is this the reason hes a big buck??? anyhelp is wanted

Two words.....The Rut
Find out where the ladies hang out in the area and maybe you' ll get a chance. The late summer easy patterning of the bucks is over now. They are ready to breed and the does are not so they are beginning to move around. Unless he has a bedding area that he habitually goes to for security reasons, he will be looking for love more each day now.
