How do you keep the can quiet whole walking into the woods? I dopn' t want some love sick buck assaulting me in the dark!!!!
Take the tape off the bottom. To use it, cover the hole with your finger. Hope this helps.

There is no known scientific research data indicating any doe that has a seperate distinct vocalization when in estrous. The vocalization the author could be refering to is simply the contact call which starts low then rises and falls in pitch which is what the " Can" imitates, or he could be refering to the social grunt.
Either this or the author wanted to sell some calls....I' d be interested in picking that issue up and reading the article....do you know if he quotes any research?
