Philbert8, I have not seen much in the way of rubbing or scraping yet. The cold weather for the first couple of days of bow season was great. I saw a big 140 class buck grunting and chasing after a doe. I heard several guys say the same thing at the beginning. Now the hot weather is all but stoped any rut action. I am going to open a couple of mock scrapes next weekend and hope for some cooler weather!
Bubbamoose, my boy is five and has been with me on atleast one hunt a year since he was 3. As a matter of fact dad blew are first chance at a harvest together friday night!! Oh well My son said, " dont worry dad I' m not mad at you" !!

Nice buck ILL, and almost out of my back yard!!
Just a side note. I am seeing more scrapes and deer really hitting a couple of rubs just this last weekend. I had a scrape pop up 15 yards from my stand friday night. And there has never been one in that location. So I think the prerut is going. I went and bought some estrus pee and some scrape juice to start using a little of.
