You can tell Deer droppings from Elk and that is about as far as it goes

Shadowace, the amount of stool present may help separate a large deer from a very small one, I suppose....at least most of the time. I' ve seen fawns put out a lot bigger clumps than you would imagine. But for the most part larger deer do have larger piles. HOWEVER, there is still no way to tell if its from a big doe or a big buck.

most people don' t agree, but the bigger droppins( almost as big as peanut m n m' s):eek: are from a buck. I got this from a wildlife biologist, so he should know what he' s talkin about. of course, the size of the droppins also depend on the size of the buck.

But now as far as taste goes. Deer that eat apples have a somewhat sweater taste. Acorn diet bitter,corn normal taste but crunchy texture. ok I' m done but some people say I really know my sh%# ![]() |
