Default Is this buck better last year or this??

This buck has been on cam since 2011(I will try to upload those pics) and 1 of my hunting buddies thinks he looked better last year. I think I like him better this year. What do you think?

HERE IS 2011 AND 2012

He was running during the day last year. Mike would see him on one hillside in the morning cursing and then I saw would see him on the other end of the hill at night.

I liked his character and mass and went to harvest him last year. He came down the trail and walked 7 yards away in front of me. He just passed and I went to draw, I got about 6 inches back and my arrow went off and flew over him like a rainbow. I figured my glove had caught my release and pulled it. He ran 20 yards further and stood there looking around and walked up the hill.

Turns out using my tow rope of my string loop had frayed it enough and slipped right through my release!!

We kept letting him grow the last 2 years but he is like that forever and not going to change. Just messed up genetics.
