Alright, alright, where did I become the butt end of the joke in this thread. ;) It was a great hunt and I was more than honored to have Matt up for a visit and share my spots with them. There are plenty more great people here that I would do that for and with.

We had great weather, the deer were plenty just not all in the right spot but that' s how fair chase hunting is and why I can' t get enough of it. Matt made a great shot on this doe and she come flying past me as I grabbed my bow hoping she' d stop for another arrow but no need, I heard her crash down the hill from me. All in all between Matt and myself in two days of hunting we saw 11 different bucks and countless number of doe...like I said, we have too many and Matt helped us out by taking a nice mature one at that. My hunting and outfitting partner Doug joined the hunt as well from another stand location and saw a big bruin (bear). The view that Matt is talking about is incredible and one of my favorite stand locations....it' s breath taking and to sit and enjoy it on a perfect night is why I keep going back.

Now for some of you. ;)

Matt, I' m the perty one in that picture....the hansome guy on the left with the gotee.

Rack, Without me, the pic would just be some big ooolllff with a fat doe and a weird looking bow.

Cougar, hell our ages are only 4 years apart, I can' t help he has one of those baby faces....

Davidmil, it' s our broad shoulders...honest :D and the camo is incredible on the ground as well, green or not....Matt had a dozen deer in front of him and trust me where I put him was out in the field in a tree with no cover except the trees several yards behind him and Matt is no small feller.....in any other camo, he' d been spotted, trust me, I' ve hunted the tree with other camo' s and been busted.

Ausie-guy, You got that right.

MQ1, I haven' t fogotten about you, I may have told you my camera broke...I was able to show Matt turkey footage from a master vcr tape and some of my old tapes from the analog camera but not the recent stuff from my digital camera....I will send you a tape.....I will, I will....

5ver, lol special ed....I' m always here for the underpriviledge...after all, look at that thing he calls a bow...and speaking of special ed, when you coming up from Va. to share a hunt with me.....and speaking of dark alleys, you should see the size of this boy....lol

Tazman, the short bus had me in tears..lol :D

JeffB, you wouldn' t know we were in the pic without those big smiles....remember I' m the perty one on the left....

Jersey, I' ve passed a several already, I' ll take em on film or prior to breeding.

Frank, we dressed up in our good camo for this hunt, it was special.

Jimimac, I told Matt to wear his headnet for the pic, he wouldn' t tho..;)

Its great to hear a story like that. I like that you were 100yds apart - must have felt like you were both in the hunt!

Nice picture too.

Sounds like a great time and an awesome hunt! Also sounds like the picture is great, yep, I can' t see it once again [&:].

Congrats fellas.

I' ve been having some fun in my ASAT, too. Tonight I walked to within 30 yards of a double-bearded gobbler and had a fuzzy-faced yearling walk past me at about 4 feet! This stuff is cool!! [8D]

*Correction: I see it now! Awesome!
