Hello all! My boyfriend and I have been TRYING to get into bow hunting for the past 2 years and haven't had luck. What do you think of Diamond Razor Edge bows? We saw a pair on Craigslist for $400 comes with cases, 3 arrows each, etc. Would these be a good starting bow? The guy that has them says they are a year old. PLEASE REPLY SOON! We are supposed to drive to KC tonight to get them.

Diamond makes an ok bow. Bear makes a great bow. Some can be pricy but you can also find them at dicks or gander ext.. They are a great company there costumer service is amazing.

It's a great bow. My boy uses one, and my very large friend uses one. You will be happy.

It's a good starting point for you both....Just don't rush it please! Make sure you practice practice practice until your both effective and consistent with your equipment so not to wound any deer! Good luck and welcome to this crazy addiction!!!

We have nothing to do with our time so we would be practicing a lot. Especially if we plan on hunting this year. I'm a rifle hunter and I love it and he's never shot a deer (but has been rifle hunting with me) so it will be fun!

So did you go buy them? For $200 each, that isn't a bad deal. As an adult, I'd have bought a different bow that wasn't a "grow with you" model, but you could do far worse than the Diamond Razor Edge.
