RE: Bowdacious reporting in sir.......
I remember that - I believe I was involved in it. As I recall HCBF' s responses added fuel to the fire - I may be wrong. |

RE: Bowdacious reporting in sir.......
Yeah, and that' s exactly what I' m talking about. And even this year, people are getting ripped apart over losing an animal, yet a Mod screws up, and gets almost nothing. But what happened in the past stays in the past, and I' m a better hunter and tracker because of it. So moving on to the topic at hand, and the topic that needs resolved...
For some reason, this year there is a lot of posts titled...." Help, lost a deer!!!" or something to that effect. And everyone that has posted that has really been flamed hard this year. Not all of them, but for the most part. Then you get a Moderator who post...." Awesome hunt..." , and his awesome hunt ended up with wounding three animals, and the post almost goes through without anyone saying a word about it. But I am really proud of the mod' s on this board for finally standing up and saying something. Moderator or newbie, posting about wounding animal' s is a open chance for people to talk crap, and for others to give useful info. It' s hit or miss when you post about losing a animal cause some people give you the sick to my stomach routine, and others give info, offer suggestions on recovery and just generally are concerned about finding the animal. And thanks to MAtt / Pa for being the first to say something. And maybe we' ll get a reply with a explaination. Maybe we won' t. But needless to say, joke or not...this is a really low point on HuntingBBS.Com |

HIGH COUNTRY... guess what..... Moderators are just people too. They do have that secret handshake and chest bump but that' s the only difference in us all. They' re allowed to have a flaw now and then.[:-] Maybe you expect to much from mortal man. The world is not perfect. Sometimes people disappoint us. They' re not selected to " Moderaterdom" because they' re perfect... usually it' s because they' re from Penn or are a " Good Ole Boy" or a Good Ole Boy, and then there' s Christine.... It' s because she' s cute.;)(Honestly Christine... it was the devil in me made me say that)[:-]

Bow....Say it isn' t so. [:' (] I would quit hunting after losing all that game. I would also be disgusted and would not consider it a hunt of a lifetime.[:' (]

RE: Bowdacious reporting in sir.......
I don' t hold the moderator' s above anything. If you want to know the truth, I think I' m better then just about anyone. But the flaming that new people to the forums get is complete bull**** when a Moderator does three times worse.
Some people on these forums talk about stuff they know...then there is people like you that talk out their @$$. Congrat' s on bringing nothing to this post. |
