RE: Couple of questions.

Nuge, I was sitting on the front rail of my summitt last night. If you are not comfortable standing too far away from the tree sit on the rail:) I don' t think it will slip on you if you have properly positioned it at attached the safety belt around the seat portion. Get you an ez hangar for your bow. Wal-Mart carries one that is about 10 bucks and they are easy to install and are very helpful. Good luck:D

RE: Couple of questions.

One more thing one thing I hate about standing is the face that you have to hold your bow. Where do you put it?
I hang my Back Pack about a foot above my seat on the left side facing away, and rest the bottom limb in the outside pocket to take the weight off while standing and expecting action anytime soon. Other than that I have a strap on tree step on my right side about 40" above my seat for when I' m standing facing the tree or just sitting and waiting. Sometimes I' ll put a step on each side up high depending on the way the tree leans:D

RE: Couple of questions.

Im using a Summit Cobra this year and it never has slipped yet and I stand a lot, usually in the middle but was moving around a lot the first day to see if it would, and it held strong. It actually bites too well because when I try to come down the tree it bites into the bark so deep that I pull my feet out of the straps trying to lift it off the tree. I almost have to kick it to one side to get it to come loose. It is a very stable stand though.
