Hello
I would imagine about 90-95 per cent hunt with a gun also. I myself know only two people who bowhunt but does not gun hunt, and one fellow is a felon and can' t possess a firearm.
I hunt with both.

Only time a gun comes out for me anymore is for predators/varmits and birds. I bowhunt big game exclusively. I think you will find a great majortity on this site the same way.

I' ve got a shotgun that I use for mourning dove. All my other hunting is with a bow - and that is almost always with a longbow or recurve.

I gun hunt twice a year. I hunt opening weekend in the Adirondacks with my brother and opening day in the Southern Tier of NY with some high school buddies(we' ve been at it for 30 years). I gun hunted 3 or 4 times in Maryland last year. By that time I usually have all the deer I want and don' t shoot anything. Keep waiting for the big one.
