Default and He chocks

Well this was the secound nite I have been out and had a little luck . My hunting biddy and I decided to put in for some of the extra doe tags they have available in North Dakota this year and we have been trying to fill them in what we have been considering our poorer hunting areas and so far the first night produced a 3x3 and a 4x4 buck and no shot oppertonites but it was nice to see them bucks up close but I was headed for the truck and they were just coming out of the heavey cover{ twenty yard stare down } and they decided they were better off not coming any closer and did a 180 and headed back for the bush end of day one tonight things improved {still looking to fill my doe tag } and I got on stand about 5 pm and it wasen' t 20 minutes and I had a real nice 5X5 working a scrape I didn' t even know was their about 60 yards away through some real thick brush so I gave him a couple of soft doe bleats and he slowly worked his way over about 30 yards but he was still behind a lot of cover then he eventually come out at what I thought was a little under 40 yards and gave me a nice broad side looking the other way shot That I took advantage of and shot niecly over him and killed a lot of nice green grass but hay I still am looking for that doe I might have to shot my buck first so I can fill my doe tag maybe they are using reverse psycoligy on us

Hmm It seems you hit upon a stunning new strategy to see large bucks. Go doe hunting! Do you bale the hay you create?
