I'm sorry you didn't find her. That was her that you put your flashlight on. An unwounded deer wouldn't let you get up that close.

I would have guessed you would have found her after you pulled out. You may have hit her forward in the shoulder and missed the lungs.

If you caught some of the lungs you would have had her the following day. Just my experience and opinion. Sorry you lost her.
