Congrats. You now have me pumped for my afternoon hunt. Opening day here in Illinois and just getting ready to shower to leave for the timber. Hope to see a bruiser like that one come into range, if not today sometime in my life.

Great Buck! Great Story! Cute Son! And I' ll be the first to say it to make the picture police happy ;)... Great Picture!!! Let' s see, you' re smiling, the bow is in the picture, the deer' s tongue is tucked in, no sign of blood or gaping innards, you' re not riding the buck like it was a horse, and you have a good woodland background! Who could ask for more?!? :D[&:]

Seriously, though, it is a nice picture and I know where people are coming from when they talk about taking good pictures. I didn' t last year and as I look back on them this year, I wish I had taken that extra step.

Well, I have a slow connection at work, so normally I just read the hunt stories and don' t post.

But man, that is one beauty of a buck.

Congratulations and great patience. I roughly counted 17 points. What' s the actual figure?

Great story and very impressive buck! Now, I have to force myself to get back to work and get myself thru the rest of the week before I can start dreaming on Friday night!
