I saw the Barnett Vortex Hunter youth bow in Wal-Mart last week,45-60#,30" draw; sold as a set with some basic add on's. Today while at work I saw it in the paper for the Black Fri. sale at about $100. I shoot 32" and could make up the difference with some type of release I guess. I was thinking of this for a kayak bow since it is about 1/3 the length and weight of my Martin compound. I am not keeping up with the latest trends and equipment out there, so....... Any thoughts on the subject?

Just bought one for my step son. Will be able to tell you more in about a month.
