Hope everyone's doing well.

Hearty, and heartfelt congratulations. Those are IMPRESSIVE.

You've got to be significantly North of here; there are no wolves in my neck of the woods, and those deer are far and away larger than anything around here.

I am green with envy, but very happy for you.

If you consider North CAROLINA "north", I might be (north of you).

That's a coyote.

thats a good sized yote, you must definitely be either towards the center of the state or up north near the VA boarder. The bucks here in down east NC are slightly smaller very difficult to find one of those sizes.

The top buck (killed in 2012) only scored in the low 100's. But, he was a nice 3.5yo that was 21" inside and had a horse of a body.

The bottom buck was killed on Tuesday of this week (about 15mi. from my normal hunting grounds). He taped out at a little over 120" and is my second biggest to-date. I've only seen one bigger than him in nearly 10yrs of hunting my area. I've seen others take bigger deer, but they're obviously doing it better than I.

I'm in the foothills region, close to W-Salem. I rarely hunt anywhere else.

I killed two yotes the morning I took that one. He (the small male in the photo) was the best looking one of the two. He'll go on the wall in a full-body mount in a few months.

Well, I am mistaken! You are certainly about the same north-ness as me.

But I've never seen deer like that around these parts, and that is QUITE a coyote! Wow.

The G man is back! Nice to hear from you. It looks like you've been busy during your absence. Nice looking animals.
