RE: Ameristep blinds
I do not own a Brickhouse yet as I just bought two more of the other Ameristep models. However, I did have a chance to play with one when I was out at Cabelas the other day. It definitely looks and feels like a solid design. It takes a few more seconds to set up than the Doghouse style blind but it can still be done in very little time at all.
If I did not already have two Doghouses then I might actually consider getting one. |
RE: Ameristep blinds
is the doghouse smaller. i plan to hunt with my wife and 5 year old in it. they both love to hunt. just got my little one a red ryder bb gun and she wants to shoot a deer so bad. my wife, well she shoots better than me with a rifle or muzzle loader. man i hate to say that too loud. gotta love hunting, and even better, gotta love it when your family participates.

RE: Ameristep blinds
If you look at just the specs of both blinds then the answer would probably be " no" . However, the brickhouse tends to be wider right at or slightly below the window level...in comparison to the Doghouse which is widest at the bottom and gradually tapers out to slightly narrower up top.

I just got the WigWam by Hunters View for $50 at Wal-Mart. I counldn' t pass it up for the price. It is alot like the original Doghouse( it is black inside, without the shoot thru windows). Last year I bought the Outhouse for $70, but when I drew my bow my arm had to go out the back window. I took it back.
