How many times out of 10 do you see deer when you go hunting. I am somewhat of a disgruntled hunter at the moment. I have been at least once a day since the season started and sometimes twice (about 25 times total) and have seen deer 3 times. I was just wandering if this was close to normal for this time of year.

I would say about 1 or 2 out of 10 for me, depending on the year. some are
better than others.

I see deer everyday I pass this one field 1/2 mile up the road from my home. Last night there were 37 deer in it. When I' m hunting I would say 80% of the time I see at least a tail. The problem is getting them close enough to stick one.

Depending on which stand I hunt, I' d say 3/10 on a trial stand and my best stand I' d probably say 8/10.

I see deer almost every time I go out to hunt but they don' t always come in range. I hunt over alfalfa and clover plots that I planted and cant cover the whole area at once.

I would say about 80% of the time. Sounds to me like you are probably overhunting your area....and they know it.

I hunted probably 40 days last year and on only 2 occasions did I not see deer. Very few within range and even fewer still that I chose to take, but I nearly always see game.

I guess its about 7 out of 10 I will see deer

I would say 9 out of 10 times I' ll see deer. Not always in shooting range but it is very rare that I don' t at least see them.

I see ' em everytime and I go out 2-3 times a month (Maryland has a ton of deer but there' s no hunting on Sunday' s on Public Land...yet!).

But if the question was how often are they in bow range...well, that' s a different story!
