If I' m hunting some WMAs, I see deer maybe 1 out of 5 times. As for chances of them being close enough to shoot, I' d say maybe 1 out of 15. But, come October I' m allowed to hunt some privately held land and my sightings increase to about 100% of the time I see deer and the times they are close enough to shoot are at 1 out of 5.

As you can guess, it' s hard to focus on work Monday thru Friday when my mind is set on Saturday and my chances of putting down some does or a chance for a decent buck!
