New to the site so I just wanted to introduce myself. From the state of Wisconsin and been a bowhunter for 16 years now. Mostly hunt public land but every once in a while get onto some private. Have mostly stalked/hunted out of blinds, very seldomly hang a stand (hate carrying stand/climbing sticks out, lol), but finally decided to get up in the trees more this year and just ordered a Summit Viper Classic, new in box, for $129 shipped. Was just wondering what your guys' thoughts were on this stand and if I got a good deal. Cheers!

Welcome to the site. I'm more than likely going to hunt from the ground more this year or fixed stands because climbing with my climber is hard on my old bod, joint issues. I have heard mostly good things about the Summit climbers so I'm sure it will serve you well. Wear your harness always, they can be a pain at times but the pain they cause is nothing in comparrison to falling from 15 to 20 feet up. Take care and good hunting this year.
