Default AAAAAHHHHHH

I went out back to shoot my bow tonight. I set my target out, walk back 20yards and lay down my arrows and was in the process of putting on my release. I hear what sounds like a grunt. I turn around and on the other side of my little creek there is a 1 1/2 year old 8 pointer.[] He then proceeds to lower his head and walk at me. I set my bow down and take a few quickened steps back and he stops and takes off! He got to about 12-14yds away. He scared the hell outa me. I figured I was gonna end up getting gored!

There is rarely any deer that venture that close to the house. About 150yds off the back step. These are hunted deer, not them urban things. Usually only does with fawns pass through and thats in usually in like, August but this is the first buck.
Kinda aggressive for this early. Just pumped me up for the 4th

It was an odd feeling being the hunted instead of the hunter. It was kinda like a human drive the deer was puttin on. His blocker must have been in the wrong spot

Not to make fun of you deerhunter but it' s pretty funny how 99% of the hunters out there react when actually confronted by an animal. It doesn' t matter if it' s a deer in your back yard, a partridge flushing along the side of a trail or a squirrel that jumps into your lap while on stand ..... most hunters scream and squeal like little girls!

I' ve seen it so many times......

in fact just a week ago while reaching into the boot of my waders and a mouse ran up my arm...... I showed that mouse ... by throwing those waders 1/2 way across the yard!

I don' t think I would have been running as shooting him would be considered self defense[>:]

Urban deer that havent known humans as a threat are less likely to be afraid of humans. Thats all
