Sorry to hear about your father voodoo. Perhaps he' ll guide a big one to you this fall.
Best of luck to all of my fellow Ohioans this fall. Be safe, shoot straight, and enjoy yourselves.
Get some good pics if you do score.

I haven' t had a chance to get out on the nuisance permit yet so I' ll probably be hitting the woods for the first time with every one else Saturday morning. This increadible weather is making really hard to wait.
Hey Dough Boy, you' re hunting only about 20 minutes away. There' s some great looking property up in that part of the county. Good luck to you this season.

Ok boys, who got/saw what?
I got out there and saw 3 does, slightly out of range. On top of that the rain would have made tracking a nightmare, so I just watched.
Saw 7 more does on the drive home.
Anybody else?

I was only able to hunt Saturday. In the AM I saw 1 deer like creature while it was still dark, nearly stepped on a skunk(talk about your cover scent[X(]) & had 2 does watch me climb my tree before sun up. I did have 18 turkeys feeding past my stand. Some were within 26 yards. Let' s hope they come back next weekend when they' re in season...
PM hunt started out good but the wind changed direction after a few hours in my stand. I had 8 does & 1 8 point come to within 40 or 50 yards during the course of the day until they each picked up my stink & headed the other way. If the wind hadn' t changed on me I may have gotten a chance.
Overall I saw 1 antlered deer, 16 antlerless, 1 skunk, and 44 turkeys.
