Default Spring stand setup

I have a spot where I need to move a stand and do some work in the area in order to get it setup for fall. Will I drive deer out of area if I do a little work one day a week for a couple hours this spring?

Thanks

Its best to do it before a good rain, that way it washes the scent away IMO...but nah they will keep coming back..one day isn't going to mess them up. Throw out some apples as a piece offering

Do it midday. Deer are typically used to seeing people during the day, whether it be farmers or just pedestrians in the area. You will be just fine... anyways they should forget about you by the time deer season rolls around.

I wouldn't worry at all. You got to hang stands at sometime and right now is as good as any. The farmers are all out planting so deer are seeing people out on their turf. Plus, with the spring weather, the rain will wash away your scent. I hung one batch of stands about a month ago and the rest of my new ones will be going up in Mid june. Gives them plenty of time to get used to them. I also like to get any major trimming that I have to do done now. Then when August rolls around I check for any small summer growth that will effect my shots. I also like to make sure I get my gear rope and gear hooks out this time of year. Then when i double check stands in August, I get in and get out.
