What' s the wierdest place you' ve seen a deer?
 

A couple of summers ago, a kid who worked for us was changing a water meter in the middle of town (five miles from the nearest woods) and had a doe jump right over him as he was laying on the ground. Another buddy of mine who is a police officer had to shoot a doe who was thrashing about inside the church. Where have you guys seen deer where they didn' t belong?

my senior year i hit a deer driving to school. (i lived in the city back than)

In the middle of a lake I was fishing. My buddy swears they saw one out over two miles on Lake Ontario,while Salmon fishing.

I have seen deer running down a side walk in the middle of town.

haha! a few years ago while outside during PE a doeor 2 came ripping thru the school yard and across the parking lot and into town....wonder what ever happened to them.

yup, town seems to be the norm for odd places....other than in town....

On my family farm, we have what we call the junk pile....it' s basically an island of sumac trees and ole junk cars/trucks about 40 yards in diameter but it lies in the middle of a corn field...you can bet there are deer in there everytime you go in.... I want to set up a camera in there but don' t like to disturb it...I' ve even thought about setting up on the old oil tanker in there as a stand but have yet to do it....

during the rut one year had a monster buck go swimming in the ocean in n.j. the cops shot him.
