Muzzys or rages?
#13
I'm thinking of switched to a fixed broad head. When stalking, I keep an arrow knocked and occasionally look down and see my Rage blade out of its O-ring; which doesn't sit too well. I heard Muzzys were good for boar as well, any thoughts?

I have killed over 20 hogs with my GrimReaper 100grn 1-3/8ths cut and blew through everyone of them. Even an old boar that was shoulder hit from front to back. Shot him at 23yds from above and it stuck in the dirt on other side!!!! Scaled 319lbs!!! No O-rings to fail, or mess with. Just shot a brand new steel drum the other day with a guy trying to promote his new BH and I blew an older GR at 18yds through and 1/2way out the other side at 64lbs, arrow was a GT Velocity XT 356grns at 297fps. Broke 2 blades in half and the 3rd was OK.

I've used the Rage 2 blade ever since they came out and love them. If I don't use one of the broadheads over the course of the season the one thing I always do before next season is change the rubber O-Ring. I never have had a problem with the blades coming open.
