new DeerCam Digital Scouting Camera?

I was just flipping through Cabelas special edition hard-back catalog (haha, you guys who don' t have it should be so jealous [&:]) and I started lookin at it again.

I was wondering what the picture quality is like, how many pictures you can get on one smart media card, and how good is the flash?

The features on this camera are awsome, as it has a picture delay from 1 second to 1 hour. It also says that it can take over 1,000 pictures on one card.

I have been thinking about picking one up as it has alot of the features I like. I would love to set the camera up for one picture every 1 second, and let it go for two weeks. It would be cool. But, I want to know if it is worth dropping $500.00 for it.

I know what your saying BM...especially now with pulling the film, reloading, taking it to the one hour mart...waiting only to be disappointed sometimes...

With the digital....check it, preview it...maybe change cards and print the ones you want.....

I' m wondering the the new digital has the view screen on it, so you could check your pics in the field? I don' t think cabelas mentioned. That would be nice, delete what you don' t want, and keep going.
