CG, Nice bull. What broadhead did you use for the 3rd shot?.That mq1 looks right at home laying next to that bull.Archery elk is on my to do list for sure.Congrats!

PS I practically gave that old mav of yours to a local kid getting started in bowhunting.Told him the bow had some serious mojo.

Yeah that 2001 elk was killed with that Maverick......Hope the kid enjoys it...it' s a great bow.
I was using Muzzy 115. gr 4-blades on the second and third shot. I used the snuffer on the first shot because it flew the same as the Muzzys and I wanted to see if they were all they were cracked up to be. They definately are!! However, the muzzys performed flawlessly also. The first 2 shots were pass throughs and the last shot went in behind his last rib and wedged in the far side shoulder.....about 36" of penetration. Not bad for 40+ yards.
