Default new to bowhunting

My dad recently gave me a pse f4 maxis bow, i know nothing about this bow but would like to use it. I would like to know any suggestions to get this bow ready to hunt and anything at all about this bow!

Do you have an archery shop nearby? That would definitely be the best place to start!

ILhunter84 - I agree 100%. A pro-shop will be able to check the condition of the bow, measure you for draw length and adjust the bow, work with you on draw weight, arrow shaft and broadhead selection, and guide you through the myriad of sight syetems , releases, etc.

x2 on the archery shop, a bow is one of the most personalized items you will ever own. An expert at an archery shop will get you all fitted into the bow and leave you with alot more general knowledge than you came with.
