Default Scent Wicks...what to do?

I went out last night and had some special golden estrous in my bag, so I put some out. Made a drag coming in, then put out Two wicks on either side of me. Anyway, at the end of the night I got my stuff around and headed back to the truck. When I got their I realized that I had left the wicks in the woods. I usually will take them with me to be used later.

Will the wicks being left in the woods affect my hunting in that location? I don't know why, but I can't stop thinking about it and feel like I screwed up by leaving them in the woods.

How he did it i don,t remember but a guy hunting heavy cover near where i hunted years ago broke a glass bottle of doe in heat during a.m. hunt. That afternoon he walked in to find a very nice buck waiting where entire bottle was spilled. I,m not using scent anymore but used to keep a rag dosed out of reach over popular scrape. You,ll be allright, just keep a sharp eye out going back in!.

Made a mock scrap last sunday. I sprayed some doe in heat in the scrape and used some hot doe urine i saved from last year from a doe i shot. I put some on a wick and hung it above the scrape. I came back yesterday to hunt and a buck tore up that scrape and expanded it by 3.
