How many arrows?
 

Just wondering how many arrows most of you take to the field?

I usually take four with me. Three good ones and one practice arrow. I always take a shot from my stand at some point before leaving. I' ll nock the practice arrow and pick out a small target on the ground and let one rip. It is excellent practice because it is in a hunting situation. This was passed along to me from a good friend and I have always done it since.

Cat quiver2 carries eight no problem,dont use
a bow quiver anymore.:)

Generally carry 6 with me:D You never know I might get real buck fever on a dumb deer that will give me 5 more chances;):D

My quiver holds 7 arrows. I take 4-5 broadheads and 2-3 field tips.

I carry between 4 and 6 depending on my mood and if the squirrels are pissing me off lately or not.

I carry 3 with me, I figure if I blow 3 chances in one outing its time to go home:)

For several reasons, not the least of which being that I hunt relatively close to my vehicle, close to my home and I prefer to have a relatively lightweight fully set up bow when I am walking through the woods. This means a Kwikee 3 arrow quiver. :)

I carry 6 arrows to the field. Never thought about carring a practice arrow to shoot anything else. When I go deer hunting I am only concentrating on deer. But , it may be a good idea.

Usually 3 sharp broadheads, 1 practice head, and 1 judo point - just in case.

I like to take a shot out of my stand every once in awhile before I get down for the morning, just to make sure I' m still on. Of course I only do this when I' m fairly certain there aren' t any deer in the area. No use making extra noise if you don' t have to.

i usually carry 3 broadheads and one feild tip to mark where the deer was when i shot it incase i have trouble finding blood, i can just go back and start over. I just bought 6 new arrows and i have cracked one, ripped a fletching on one, stuck 2 together and today i hit one and put a deep 3 inch gash in it. I think that leaves 1 good one. :D I gotta get the fletching fixed before the season. Shooting every day for an hour+ is hard on arrows. :D
