I carry 6 arrows to the field. Never thought about carring a practice arrow to shoot anything else. When I go deer hunting I am only concentrating on deer. But , it may be a good idea.

Usually 3 sharp broadheads, 1 practice head, and 1 judo point - just in case.

I like to take a shot out of my stand every once in awhile before I get down for the morning, just to make sure I' m still on. Of course I only do this when I' m fairly certain there aren' t any deer in the area. No use making extra noise if you don' t have to.

3 for me. I like lightweight and figure if I need to use them all I should go home!
