How heavy are your arrows? When I shoot the bare minimum, my Patriot is louder. Good Luck figuring it out!

I don' t know the exact weight of my arrows.

They are PSE carbon Force Extremes 200' s 100 gr tips

I shot an old 2315 easton to see if a heavy arrow would quiet it down any and it made no difference.

I am going to put leeches on this week and get some limb savers as well and I will let you guys know the results. I may even lose the peep tube ;)

i have the same thing with my dually and i can' t figeris out . i slidthe v- blocks down the lim . put string jacks all the lim saver stuf on and still hear the nose like you it seams quiet in side and sometime outside so i can' t figer it out eahter.

I don' t have a Patriot, but do have a Pro 38 DC. I have always thought my bows sounded a lot quieter outside than inside. Is is possible that the noise is coming from one of your accessories like a rest or sight? Vibration should be a string, cable, or loose screw or part.

I agree with the others. I have used the Matt/PA method of sliding the Vibrablocks down to the limb pockets, installing limb savers, and using stealth leeches on the string and cables. Very quiet along with low recoil, good speed and accuracy.:D

You have to think about the acoustics inside a building. In most cases there are objects (couchs, chairs, carpet, curtains, etc.) that absorb the sound waves, that could make the bow sound quieter. I have also found that what I thought was loud when I was shooting it, didn' t sound loud when I let someone else shoot it and I stood a few feet away.

As for the peep tubing-that is a major noise source. Another on this board suggested going to a sewing or crafts place and getting beading cord. It is elastic, thin and makes no noise. You just have to drill a small hole in your peep to tie through.
I shot next to a guy with a DC Patriot. He is on a hunting staff for a camo manufacturer, and he commented that my Martin Panther Mag was the quietest bow he had ever not heard. I could definitely tell the difference in noise levels from shooting mine, then his. I have leeches on the string and cable, 2 sets of limb savers on the limbs, and a Trophy Ridge Xchanger stab. Between the stab and the riser I also have a Doinker-like Cobra shock blocker. Makes for some very quiet shooting.

I was just shooting with my brother in the yard and I had himd shoot my bow while I stood about 6-8 feet to his right. I barely heard a thing. It still sounds a little loud to me when I shoot it though.........Who knows?? As long as the deer aren' t gonna hear it.

I took off the peep tube, slid the blocks down to the pockets and put on limb savers and cat whiskers on the string and cable in place of the stars.

Shoots like a dream but did little to eliminate that sound I keep hearing. The only thing left for me to do is add a stabilizer............I am no longer worried about it since I cannot hear it from 6 feet away and no one has told me they think it is loud.

I have the E- VFT and use the CopperJohn sight you use. I mounted it in the middle holes. The further out you have it the more noize it makes. Where is yours positioned? I heard a tuning fork vibration after shots and figured it was the sight. So I stuck one of the small limb savers (the little guys you put on accesories) on the bottom of the sight. They came in a pack of three so I put one on my MZE. The other one I lost when it flew off of the sight just after application. It vibrated soooo much that I had to use superglue and let it sit over night. Well it was a noticable difference after they where installed! I know you stated that you took components off to look for the noize but I thought I' d share this bit of info with you as you seem to enjoy a quite bow.;)
